About Us

In 2002 I decided that I had to change my life, so I took an evening class in teaching English and on the 1st January 2003 I found myself in San Luis Potosi, a city high in the central Mexican mountains. I intended to stay for only a few months, but was soon addicted to the Mexican joie de vivre. A country of many contrasts, Mexico is distinguished by incredible cuisine and, for me, a lifestyle so relaxed it feels as far as the moon from my old life in London. I've lived on and off in Mexico since those first few months of discovery, and every time I come back it feels more and more like home.

I first started selling silver jewellery in Mexico in 2005. With my boyfriend, I travelled to the remote towns of Guererro and met silversmiths and suppliers from the best talleres (workshops) in Mexico. Mexican silver design has long had a reputation for being the best in the world, and rightly so. From the designs we buy, a sample is sent to the Birmingham Assay office in the UK to be tested, and the sterling quality silver content confirmed. We also apply our own silver test to ensure the highest standards of quality in the jewellery we sell.

Our silver jewellery, distinguished by traditional as well as modern design, distinctive shapes, and attention to detail, continues to be more popular than ever in both Mexico and Europe. In fact, demand is such that we are opening our first store at the end of 2007 in the place where it all started, the colonial city of San Luis Potosi. If you're ever down Mexico way, drop us a line - we welcome customers and fellow adventurers alike. Nos vemos...
